Yesterday’s NAP landed fortuitously as Ballymoy took every advantage of Ask Dillon’s withdrawal.
But action now focuses to Aintree’s card this Friday evening where our team has selected our best bet of the day.
We’re backing Dan Skelton’s recent Cheltenham victor Proschema to make it four wins from his last five following an easy success on his first step up to this trip last time out.
Formerly with Tom Dascombe, the Declaration Of War son stayed two miles on the Flat and left the impression there was a future for him over two-and-a-half after the manner of his Prestbury Park success in April.
He won two jumper bumper’s prior to that at Newcastle before a creditable fifth at Newbury, but this may prove to be his optimum trip.
The Warwickshire yard enjoyed a fine end to the last campaign, including Grade 1 wins at Aintree during the 2021 Grand National Festival, and their fortune in the north-west can continue here.
