The WilliamHill.com Best Odds Guaranteed Hurdle Race is the fifth race that is run at Aintree Racecourse for The William Hill Autumn Raceday Meeting every November.

An exquisite seven-race card is on offer for The Autumn Raceday, which offers three hurdle races, three steeplechases and a flat race on the excellent ground of Aintree Racecourse.

The most prestigious, high-value race of The Aintree Autumn Raceday is The Class 2 Follow WillHillRacing On Twitter Handicap Chase, which offers £32,000 in prize money to its competitors.

The William Hill Autumn Raceday takes place just a few weeks after the conclusion of The Aintree Afternoon Racing Meeting and just a month before The William Hill Becher Chase Meeting.

About the Race

The WilliamHill.com Best Odds Guaranteed Hurdle is a Class 2 National Hunt hurdle race that serves as the fifth race of The William Hill Autumn Raceday every year at Aintree Racecourse.

Open to horses aged four years old and above, The WilliamHill.com Best Odds Guaranteed Hurdle runs 2 miles and 4 furlongs of Aintree’s Mildmay Course and features a number of hurdles for the elite participants to manoeuver. 

£30,000 was in the prize pot last time out in 2020, which was shared between the first four horses to pass the final post in the following manner:

1st place – 10/3 Summerville Boy (IRE) – £18,768

2nd place – 15/8 Ch’tibello (FR) – £5,544

3rd place – 11/2 Thomas Darby (IRE) – £2,772

4th place – 3/1 Call Me Lord (FR) – £1,386

11/10 race favourite Roksana finished just a neck behind Top Notch in second place, followed by 11/4 third-favourite Vision Des Flos in third place and 33/1 outsider Aweeminit in fourth.

2018

In 2018, the winner of The WilliamHill.com Best Odds Guaranteed Hurdle at Aintree’s Autumn Raceday was 2/1 joint-favourite Wholestone, ridden by jockey Sam Twiston-Davies and trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies.

11/4 priced second-favourite Vision Des Flos finished two and three-quarter lengths behind Wholestone in second place, followed by 2/1 joint-favourite Unowhatimeanharry in third place and 10/1 priced Agrapart in fourth.
