On the day Nina Carberry celebrates her 37th birthday, we take a look back at her victory aboard On The Fringe, who won the Foxhunters at Aintree back in 2015.

The JP McManus owned gelding, who also secured victories at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festival’s that same season and the campaign following, bowed out at Listowel on his final ever appearance two years ago for Enda Bolger.

But it was his Merseyside demolition job six years ago that was arguably one of his better performances, seeing off the would-be duel Prestbury Park successor, Pacha Du Polder, in the process.

Carberry finished her career with 412 wins, picking up her first on Sabrinsky at the Curragh in 2001 for Noel Meade.

17 years later and two champion amateur titles later, she would claim her final bit of glory with Josies Orders was a fitting Bolger and McManus success in the Dooley Insurances Cross Country Chase at Punchestown.
