Lawney Hill’s Clondaw Westie could feature in Stratford’s card on Friday evening, just over a month on from his mammoth effort in the Foxhunters’ Open Hunters’ Chase.

The son of Westerner ran a huge race at odds of 200-1 when chasing home Cousin Pascal on day one of the 2021 Grand National Festival.

He has since finished second at Cheltenham but may bid to secure a first win in five outings at the Warwickshire track this pre-weekend.

Also with an entry in the 6:55pm Pertemps Network Stratford Foxhunters Champion Hunters’ Chase is the former Gigginstown House Stud representative Bishops Road, who straggled home last of the finishers on Merseyside in April.
