The battle of the broadcasters once again went the way of Charlie Poste, who accumulated 45 points to John Hunt’s 40 during the three-day Grand National Festival.

Following on from his Cheltenham Festival victory, Poste landed the spoils after correctly tipping three winning NAP’s across the week.

Monmiral, Chantry House and Shishkin all did the business for Charlie, while John himself called two winning bankers in the form of Abacadabras and Thyme Hill, respectively.

Hunt’s remaining best-bet, Bravemansgame, finished second – a result that proved pivotal in the race for the top.
