Recent Grand National Festival winner Livelovelaugh features in Wednesday’s Tote Galway Plate Handicap Chase at the Galway Festival as trainer Willie Mullins chases a first win in the race since 2011.

The Topham winner pulled up on his last start at Punchestown but remains only 3lb higher than his last victorious mark, and the 11-year-old will partner Sean O’Keefe at Ballybrit for one of his four rides on the night.

He finished sixth in the contest twelve months ago before claiming a bronze medal on a quickfire reappearance at the Festival two days later.

Sitting tenth in the weights, former two-time Cheltenham Festival hero Samcro concedes weight all around for Denise Foster but it is fellow Prestbury Park victor The Shunter who tops the betting.
