The Bees Knees, who finished a distant third behind Ruthless Article at the Merseyside track, returns to action and carries top weight in a 2m5f Novices’ Handicap Chase.
The gelding makes his third start over fences for Fergal O’Brien and has been stepped up in trip once again, after finishing in the top three on both of his runs over the larger obstacles.
The six-year-old lines up in a small field of five runners, but he will need to show some improvement if he is to be competitive here.
