The Grand National Festival resides in early April each year and presents three days of elite horse racing. For the very few that aren’t aware, the feature race and showpiece of this grand occasion is the most prestigious and rewarding fixture of the National Hunt calendar.

About 6 weeks after the conclusion of The Grand National and before the National Hunt season comes to a close, Aintree’s Evening Racing offers 7 final races at its iconic horse racing venue.

The first meeting of each new National Hunt season to take place at Aintree is The Afternoon Racing at the end of October, which offers a seven-race card on a beautiful Autumn Sunday afternoon.

Just a few weeks later, Aintree hosts The William Hill Autumn Raceday. This fast-paced set of fixtures presents another seven-race card on Saturday the 6th of November 2021.

A month later on Saturday the 4th of December, Aintree is home to The William Hill Becher Chase with another seven gripping races including graded fixtures and qualifiers.

Hospitality this glamorous and impressionable is a rarity anywhere in the world, not just at sporting venues.

Those that set aside a larger budget for race days can enjoy the electrifying atmosphere of Aintree from a luxurious viewpoint upon a private balcony or from a comfortable, classy restaurant positioning of their taste and preference.

Hospitality options at Aintree can be of much better value than you’d expect, especially if you’re planning on grabbing lunch from a restaurant or food outlet, or if you’re attending with a large party.

There is an excellent choice of restaurants at Aintree, including The Golden Miller Restaurant beginning at just £69 per person and “The jewel in the crown of the hospitality options” The Princess Royal Restaurant to name a few.

Free bets

When you’re looking to place a few bets on the races there’s nothing quite like a few free bets to make your selections completely risk-free.

When it comes to meetings hosted by Jockey Club horse racing venues like Aintree, Cheltenham, Newmarket etcetera there is so much competition between bookmakers for your custom that offers and promotions are chucked about left, right and centre.

Any and all free bet promotions that are picked up by our theoretical radars are presented right here for you to pluck away at as the races unfold at Aintree this National Hunt season.

The aforementioned competition between bookmakers is fantastic news for punters as odds are driven sky high in an attempt to draw in customers old and new.

Odds on horses for The Grand National Steeple Chase were as high as 100/1 last time out in 2019. This edition of the race was won by 4/1 race favourite Tiger Roll, who will have still converted £10 outright stakes that were backing him into £50 cash.

The biggest upset in recent Grand National history was in 2009 when 100/1 outsider Mon Mome took the first-place prize, ridden by jockey Liam Treadwell and trained by Venetia Williams. This result turned £10 outright stakes into £1,010 cash.
