Three runners that featured at the Grand National Festival have been entered into the bet365 Summer Cup at Uttoxeter on Sunday.

Alan King’s Talkischeap, who was pulled up in the feature event at Aintree, could return to action after a bold effort in the Perth Gold Cup.

The nine-year-old was pipped in the final stages by Landofsmiles just over two weeks ago and has been bumped up 4lbs in the ratings for that running.

He is joined by Minellacelebration, who has run twice since unseating his rider over the Grand National Fences.

Katy Price’s recruit finished third in the Staffordshire Plate back in the beginning of May, before claiming fourth in a handicap chase at Aintree.

The 11-year-old holds C&D form here and is now only 2lbs above his last winning mark, which could be dangerous for his rivals.

Sefton Novices’ Hurdle runner Topofthecotswolds is also entered, after two strong efforts since being switched back over fences.

The seven-year-old finished a distance second at Kempton in early May and ran well in the Clark Chase three weeks ago.

This is a much further distance to compete over for Nigel Twiston-Davies’ versatile type, but he has claimed success at Uttoxeter in the past.
